A travel agent, also known as travel advisor, works with clients to plan, research, and book travel plans.  These plans can include transportation, accommodations, cruises, resorts, excursions, event tickets, and travel insurance.

We advise on travel regulations, required documents, immunizations, and safety protocols.

We will work to solve any issues that may arise and handle any cancellations or rebooking needs.

We also work with industry connections to ensure you get the best rates and search for upgrade offers, bonus amenities, and price drops after you book.

We receive commission from the properties and travel suppliers at no cost to you.  These commissions are worked into their prices whether you book with a travel agent or not.  

For complicated multi-stop destinations or customized itineraries, we may assess a planning fee. However, this will always be transparently presented up front.  

Agents can save you time: hours of research and comparison research, time spent booking and coordinating trip elements, and maybe most importantly, time spent on hold with customer service with questions, changes, cancellations, and other issues.  

Agents can take the stress off of managing large groups or complex travel where there are multiple flights, hotels, and excursions to keep organized.

We will do everything we can to get you the lowest price and secure bonus perks and amenities that you wouldn't get by booking direct.   We will also monitor your booking looking for price drops which can not only save you money but time as well!

Deposit requirements and payment schedules are determined by the suppliers.  

For instance, most cruises require a deposit upon booking and then the balance is due anywhere from 60-90 days before travel.  

Some hotels will allow full payment to be paid upon arrival but some rates will require full payment upon booking.

We will always be transparent about the billing schedule and options available to you.  

Your payment will be made to the supplier through Anchor and Compass Travel.  

We will never store your credit card information or charge your credit card ourselves.
